Do the thing you need to do to get the badge, then you get the badge. It’s like scouts and guides.

If you just use the forum normally, you’ll earn badges. I wouldn’t try to force them - some users have found that to be quite counterproductive! Join in the community, follow the rules, then the badges start to come along.

If you do activities in the forum such as giving likes, commenting, etc. As far as I know, the system does it automatically for you.

Can I ask why? Just curious.

I think I have like maybe 50% if that. I visit quite often. I don’t think about - it sorta just happens. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice when I get a notice letting me know I earned something - but I plan for it.
