1.first selects some keywords related to your gig in the keyword section below the gig.
And in the gig descriptions will explain in detail what service you are providing, why your service client will take over, what benefits you are offering. Use some keywords and highlight them.

  1. Then share your gig all your social accounts.Linkedin **Twitter **Facebook Tumblr, Mix can be shared anywhere. The more you share, the higher your gig impressions will be, based on impressions ranked in a gig.

False. Impressions are when your gig shows up in Fiverr’s search results - that’s it. They are not affected by sharing gigs or getting people to click on them.

You are encouraging people to spam. There is no relationship between the amount of times you post on social media and the amount of platforms you post on to how many impressions you get. And high impressions don’t mean a higher likelihood of getting orders anyway.

Only quality engagement can help you get leads. It is about strategy, not quantity of posts.

Don’t spread false information. This is why Twitter is full of Fiverr sellers spamming. It makes all of us look bad and doesn’t help anyone understand how sales or marketing work.

I think fiverr should clarify it what actually mean by "Social Sharing ". People are doing spaming but you can easily share your post on social media site…or on your wall or on your profile…

Don’t comenting other’s post or any news channel post…specially on twitter and Facebook…by the way after few days social site will obviously ban your account if you do that over and over…

share your gigs as much as possible. it will increase impressions and ranked your gig. Best wishes for you .Thanks

No it won’t. Stop spreading this ridiculous misinformation around - sharing your gigs has NOTHING to do with impressions or “ranked your gig”.

Edit - And to anyone else that comes here and reads this - if you go around spamming your gig links, you will either be completely ignored or banned wherever you’re doing it. Do not listen to people encouraging this stupid behaviour.

I agree and disagree with you. It is up to sellers to figure out how to share responsibly and a lot of things spammers do is wrong just by common sense.

But they could do a lot to curb spamming by providing advice on how to generate leads organically on social media. It would be great to see posts about that in the Fiverr forum or tips in their official social media pages.

While posting a link to your Gig page on your social media isn’t a bad idea (word of mouth) it does seem that flooding social media with posts about your gig is being encouraged here.

Never mind the other warnings people are posting on here about how this will not necessarily increase orders and how some social media sites might ban you for doing this. More importantly, as someone in the IT field, someone who does this gets flagged as a suspicious person (bot, attacker) and any link associated with said post is going to be heavily spliced and analyzed to make sure this isn’t some time of drive-by download attack.

It will not help your reputation if you do this and reputation is everything in business

If they don’t know, they shouldn’t be advising and they shouldn’t be assuming a practice is okay. It is their responsibility to learn the strategies and be considerate before they act and I am not their coach or teacher.

You research strategies and best practices and then put them into action, not vice versa.

And no one should have to be told that spamming is wrong and ineffective.

Well said, @lcsit35. You not only don’t get leads by spamming and probably get penalized in search. You are seriously damaging your reputation when you spam. The biggest problem I have found is denial that they are spamming.
