London in the Midwest USA, that is. No London Eye, no Big Ben, but we do have corn and soy beans growing, lots of it! Oh, we did make it into a Nike commercial back during the London Olympics… for all of a split second. Yup, that’s our claim to fame.

Anyhow, I’m a data analyst with a ten year pedigree in a professional environment. I did consulting and network design for small businesses previously, amongst a myriad of other things.

I am curious how the gig economy can be utilized for professional services in my sphere of expertise and decided to try it out for myself.

Having worked with various companies through the years I am aware that many don’t know what they want from an analyst and often over estimate the job that needs done. A gig method makes sense for most small to medium businesses who don’t have the money or need for a full time analyst but need someone with experience for one off jobs every so often.

I am excited to see where this leads!
