I am facing the same issue. As a newbie, I have published 4 gigs in the past 4 days with no buyer request. Almost giving up!

brother you need to check your buyer request again and again, remember that in a all time buyer request are not available so try to patience

Well, what do you expect ?
Of course fiverr limit the access to buyer request for new seller.
What you can do is give the best sample in your gigs (a niche one).
Freelancing is not a joke, this is competition.
You can sell same service from other seller… but the question is, is your gig more worth than the others ?
