I am not sharing gigs on social media

Is sharing gigs on social media very important for getting first order? Can I still get my first order without sharing my gigs on social media?

I don’t think that is so important…
It doesn’t have any general rule for getting order!
But If you are free you can do it , its like optional thing I guess<3

No they aren’t and the people who recommend you do that don’t know anything about how lead generation on social actually works. They’re just parroting bad advice they read somewhere. Ignore it. A lot of sellers here post things that are simply untrue.

I think people should keep a bit distance from todays social media. I mean, if you want to get a potential buyer or client from your SNS friends, I don’t think everyone connect with you wants the commercial adds on their page to show up and it’s like another full-time job that you keep posting soft - advertisements.

Yes, better yet no ads at all.

Calls to buy things are never what people want to see, even if they are “soft.”

Only insight sharing can lead to business and no one here wants to do this. They just want to post their gig link. As you, say goes on Facebook thinking “I’d like to see people promoting their business today.” And no one wants to see the same link posted over and over again.

You can get your first order without sharing them but sharing them would increase the probability manifolds. It will increase your chances of landing an order within few days or few hours in some cases.
