I haven't renewed my driver's license, can I use it for the ID verification?

So the issue is I have received a notification to verify my identity. Although I have an expired driver’s license which I am yet to renew. Will it be accepted?

A bit off topic but it’s really unsafe for your only valid ID to be expired.

I don’t have a driver’s license, but I have a provincial government ID and a passport.

That is not listed in the link I shared as a valid ID.
