I hope deleting 8 spam messages will not kill my response rate

I know we are all getting slammed with some freebie site spam and I just deleted them all. I would hope that Fiverr does not penalize my response rate.

I also applied the spam tag before deleting.

Anyone else doing the same?

If you applied the spam tag and then deleted the messages, I think that’s fine. I don’t think Fiverr will lower your response rate in that case!

I respond with my pre-written “Got your message, I’ll respond when I have time” and then delete it. This keeps my response rate 100% for sure, even if I know that that account will be deleted soon

The easiest way to reply is just leave a . :stuck_out_tongue:

You can immediately reply to any spam messages saying “Please Don’t Spam”. Quick responses will boost your response time :slight_smile:

Using a period/full stop is much easier imho but each to their own :slight_smile:

I’ve been informed by CS that basically any spam messages will not affect your response rate overall but you may see a small dip whilst the system recognizes the spam and acts upon it (i.e you don’t respond/delete, your rate drops, Fiverr picks up the spam and your account is back to normal)
