I suggest this: come up with a consistent set of rules for everyone to follow

Just so you know, I didn’t do anything differently than itsyourthing did here:

You guys didn’t seem to have a problem with her post yet you have a prob. with mine. In fact, she promoted a site that wasn’t even on Fiverr! I didn’t promote any site but my fiverr gig page.

And you removed my thread from the queue. Why didn’t you remove hers?

I suggest this: come up with a consistent set of rules for everyone to follow, then enforce them consistently and impartially.

Please don’t fall into the hyprocrisy; that’s gonna drive a lot of well-meaning folks away. Don’t become this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dACvSmqwJ24

I’m a marketer and an internet salesman. I don’t have time for chit chat. I’m here to sell my gigs. I run a biz with two staff people. They have to be paid regardless of whether we turn a profit or not. I don’t have time to waste on ambiguities, vagaries, unclear guidelines, etc. If you don’t want any reciprocal promotion, or self-promotion, or any type of barter promotions on the forum, then say so, enforce it, and let’s keep it moving.

Thanks,
