Improve my gig pls :(

Hello! I’ve been here for a month and only had 1 order, of which I am very proud. I come here to ask you if you can help me to improve my gig.
I have tree different gigs about illustration in different cattegories, with different styles to see which one is the most effective. Also I send buyer requests to see if someone wants to make an order, but don’t works.

I’m guessing you’ve already found the Tips For Sellers category (with filters applied --> forum.fiverr.com/c/Fiverr-Tips/tips-for-sellers/l/top/all?order=views)? You’ll find hundreds of threads offering advice on a variety of things to consider and/or improve. (Note: Not all advice can apply to all gigs or categories. Be sure you check multiple sources as there are some false tips, even among the top threads.)

It takes a lot of work to make it as a freelancer, so be sure to research and plan accordingly.

Specific to your situation, please see (DES) point 1 and (IMG) point 2:

I think the first point I’d make is that most buyers are a little put off if your gig description and profile have not been proofread and if yours have been I’d say whoever did it wasn’t a proofreader.

The other point I’d make is who is your target audience? It wasn’t clear if you were talking to your “normal” happy go lucky sort of buyer who just wants an illustration for a children’s book or book cover.

I say that because you used jargon (speedpaint, 30s, etc.) which I just didn’t have a clue about.

On the image front they’re well done. However, what do people use images for? I’d show pictures of images in use, like book covers, report covers, children’s books, etc. Basically, showing people you’re capable of doing all those sorts of things - even though you know you are no one else does.

So, to improve your gig I’d rewrite your descriptions and profile so they’re more understandable by Fiverr’s Joe Public. Then I’d get everything properly proofread. And finally, images that represent what buyers are likely looking for.

Thank you so much! I will try to revise all the gigs and do what you say. My english is a bit off and may be the cause that seems it’s not proofread, but that’s no excuse so I will keep improving. Thanks!
