@alihassan991 Fiverr strictly forbids the exchange of pornographic material or service
Even if, fiverr had no restriction on pornographic materials, one shouldn’t do that… Particularly when your religion is Islam ( i guessed by your name)…
I appreciate that your acknowledge what was wrong at your part. Please don’t forget to hold your horses of morality in the similar situation next time
I’m aware of the whole adult services not being allowed, like taking nude pictures of yourself and sending it, but what about erotic stories?
I think there are a good number of gigs that offers such services.
A few years ago I was asked if I can translate a website that was adult in nature,
I actually checked with the CS staff if it was OK for me to translate the site and at least
back then with that particular staff, I was told that there is no problem.
Just gonna hop in, just because his name sounds like one, there is no proof that he is Islamic,
(are people gonna assume that I am from Greek because of my name?) and it’s not that the seller was intending on selling adult materials, he just wanted to check if it’s a problem if he was asked to edit such videos. True, he should have read the TOS a bit more carefully, but it seems like you were throwing in religion for no reason, and again, it was based on a guess. That might be enough to tick someone off, and he snapped back. Understandably so, in my personal opinion. I don’t think he saw it as an advice, it was more like you shoved your opinion into this forum when it had nothing to do with the OP’s question.
Just saying, like you said, I’m not trying to start an argument or anything
Thanks so much for supporting me, Lord Zeus! Much appreciated <3
I have got nothing personal against this guy, all i was saying these things are not appropriate to unnecessarily bring up with your moral compass when no one even raised a question of morality
I wonder why it’s not allowed. That kind of services would be the money maker for Fiverr. Just impose an age restriction to the category, so people wanting to browse adult services would have to verify their age first. I haven’t seen any ads etc. either on Fiverr, so reason can’t be because of sponsors not approving it. Though it would require heavy moderation, which does eat resources, but brings so much revenue.
It’s probably because of the international aspect and wish to not offend anyone. It’s good they have standards as to what kind of site they want to be. It’s not about what is moral and what isn’t for fiverr. It’s a business decision.
