Is gig edit effect on gig ranking?

I’m new on Fiverr. many people say that if you edit your gig this will fall down your gig ranking, is it true?

If you get order on your gig then why you edit this. My suggestions is don’t edit gig if u get order.otherwise you can edit gig.But it’s need sometimes for rank
