Some sellers think that adding some metadata to gig image before uploading the images is helpfull for rangking the Gig.I think its wrong idea.please share your opinion.

Creating descriptive, keyword-rich file names is crucial for image optimization. Search engines not only crawl the text on your account, they also crawl your image file names.
