Is there a chance of someone ordering from our gig?

hello fiverr members, im curious to know is Buyer requests the option to get job or does people order on your gig too ?

specially for a newcomer, ive send multiple buyer requests and havent got any job, its my 2nd week here.
Do i only rely on buyer requests or someone would come up on my gig to place an order ?
