Leaving feedback for buyers

As sellers, most of us strive for a 5 star rating and a short (or long) written feedback. So how involved do you get in leaving feedback for the buyer? Since it has no bearing on the status of a buyer, do you leave an equal star rating, add a simple thank you or a review of working with that buyer?

Almost all of my buyers (who seem to have vanished) are really nice, so yes, I reciprocate when kind words are offered. 🙂
