Low Buyer Requests after demotion from Level 1

Hi !
I was on Level one and would get 700+ buyer requests…
Now, because of one bad month I was demoted to Level 0 and now I am getting 6-7 buyer requests…
Is there anyway to increase these buyer requests ??

I notice that buyer requests increase the higher level you get and I think that might be that the buyer can request a level seller to offer them a bid? This is totally speculative, but I notice when I go up a level, I all of a sudden have hundreds of buyer requests dating back several months.
