The problem is NOT that Buyers don’t read our gig descriptions, the problem is that the “About This Gig” section is below the fold and they don’t know it’s there! The solution that I found was to utilize the space ABOVE the fold to tell Buyers there’s more to learn about my gig.
Simply make a jpg with text explaining that they need to scroll down and place it next to your video/billboard. Or, if you have a video, add that message in a text overlay.
Since I’ve requested my Buyers message me before ordering I’ve eliminated revision requests because my customers get what they want the first time. And I’m selling more EXTRAs because I actually have an opportunity to explain to Buyers how they benefit from adding them. And their projects most certainly do benefit!
