Messaging Etiquette?

Hi all!

I have a question about messaging a fellow fiverr seller. They have a service that I don’t really need or want, but they’re using a preset for their vocal effects that I’d like to know more about. Is it rude of me to message them to request to pay them to tell me what preset they are using?

They don’t have to tell me of course, but I didn’t know if that would be weird or rude to ask something like that(if it helps, I’m not planning to use the effect on my fiverr related material. I am producing an audio drama as a hobby and I think that particular effect is very cool).

Edit: After some trial and error I figured out the effect myself. Nevermind!
