New to Fiverr but dont understand how to get gigs

Hey, guys, I’m new to Fiverr even though it says I started my account in 2014. I’m not understanding how to get gigs on here and am looking to do some work do I start promoting every day or do I start messaging people about the service that I am able to do. I guess I just dont know where to start.
