A few weeks back, I’ve posted about someone basically asking female writers to describe their past experiences (…that kind, yes) before they would order from them. I’ve contacted CS, the requests were taken down and all was great in the world…
Until new orders were posted.
The requests are along the lines of
"Looking for a female author who has experience as a cheerleader / someone who wore a school uniform!!) to write a story about their NSFW experiences wearing said clothing. To apply, DESCRIBE the experience… "
Contacted CS again and… drumrolll… CS told me to BLOCK them. (which would mean that I’d need to contact them, to start with…) But they’ll look into it. (they are looking into it, the poster has posted another request since then, none has been taken down).
So on one side, I get it: business is business and these people probably are willing to pay OK.
On the other hand, I see a stark difference between requesting someone to write erotica in private (OR to post a tasteful BR, without involving details that could be referring to minors!) and well, this. Of course, I could just ignore this, but as a former nanny / teacher (who’d worked with older kids / teenagers) I just don’t think this is acceptable. I’ve seen plenty of other weird requests but they don’t involve directing asking about past experiences (which in some cases is definitely good!).
On a better note - after this rant, I’m curious. What’s the strangest (not necessarily NSFW request you have come across so far?
