EPL still one month away. What am I gonna do
Painful without it isnt it?
All of the transfer gossip rubbish melts my brain - I hate it. Just get on the pitch and play ball!
Yeah, nothing interesting going onā¦but I have started reading books again, which is a good thing. Right now reading this book recommended by @ghemachandar1 bhai:
Bought it for under $1, but it is easily one of the best books Iāve ever read.
What were you worrying about bhai?
This time I am betting on Man U. Rooney was dragging them down, now they will really do well. Mourinho has got the team he wanted.
My worries are always about the country bhai Or the nation, as I call it.
Chelsea need to sort out the striker situation, we have trouble there. Jose will do a great job this season, Rooney and Zlatan were slowing everything down. Not sure Lukaku is the player he was valued at but he will definitely allow them play in a more progressive way than the two old (as you and me) guys did.
City will struggle, I think some good players but no real team mentality.
Arsenal could be a good outside bet, if they can keep Alexis happy.
Spurs will be Spurs again.
Liverpool will not walk alone - they will be surrounded by others as they finish in mid table.
Yeah, Chelsea need a top striker and fast. As of now, Man U look almost certain to win.
I wouldnāt go that far, they have got a few players together but defence is still not great and Pogba needs to be assigned a more attacking role with someone just sitting in behind him. Pogba as a 2 man center midfield wonāt work.
Yes, but it will be between Chelsea and Man U. Thatās for sure. Man City will disappoint and Guardiola will be out by Christmas. Arsenal another top 4 finish, Spurs will do well but finish 3rd and be happy.
Chelsea and M-UTD are maybe favorites but iām pretty sure that Arsenal is going to be an underdog who can win EPL, Man-UTD and Chelsea are going to have more games to play and they will be more focused in Champions League, while Arsenal will be playing only in EPL. If they achieve to get a good defender and a good midfielder, they could be pretty good, If Lacazzete plays as he played in Lyon, with Sanchez and Ozil, they could be a decent team to pretend for EPL.
Man-Utd has bought Lukaku and they may have Pogba, but still they are not serious for title.
You will see how Madrid is going to destroy them lol.
Arsenal have always had a good team, but under Wenger they lack the killer instinct. They are just a top-4 side. Wenger has won only 2 EPL titles 20 years - that is a very poor record with the sort of team he has. Specialist in failure, as Mourinho calls him.
Exactly Dan, I think Arsenal could be in for a shout this year. If they do, expect Wenger to leave on a high.
They have never had the squad depth to compete on all fronts like the others do, without serious European competition they will be a lot better off.
Arsenal not in Champions League? They finished fourth right?
Nope, 5th. Liverpool pipped them (lol)
Oh forgot, they have always been in the top 4 ever since I started watching football, so assumed they would be fourth.
Hahah, yes, also known as 4senal.
Still, this season they are going to be really dangerous, unless they have bad luck with injuries.
Iām still skeptic for Mourinho, lately he is not the same āSpecial Oneā he used to be and lately he has started to become a failure himself. Moyes was better than him in Man-Utd, but that can be changed, this season is going to be a really good one.
Yes, thatās what iām thinking too, this may be the last year of Wenger there and a trophy would be a great way to leave, i mean an EPL Trophy, because he is an expert in FA Cup, lol.
I still have love for Jose (Chelsea fan) but Utd is a tough gig. All those average players he inherited made getting a good start difficult and his usual strategy in that situation is parking the bus which got him lots of criticism. People forget how Fergie did similar back when Bruce and Pallister were the 2 CBs. It created a platform to build on by not conceding goals.
To be fair to Wenger, he has been the biggest influence on English Football (aside from Sky money). He transformed how players in England trained, diets etc. Everyone now does what he pioneered when he arrived - he deserves to go out on a high note.
Yes, iām skeptic that Jose is going to be the next Fergie, i canāt doubt his skills as a coach, but his personality will destroy relationships with players as he did in Real, Chelsea, Inter. Iām a RM Fan, i miss counter-attacks with Mourinho in Real. I bet Arsenal as my prediction for my ELP, all the way with Wenger, lol.
