Payment doubt (earnings)

Hello everyone!

It is a pleasure to introduce myself, I am new to Fiverr. I am looking forward to provide great services and become a top seller 😀

I just delivered my first order (got a nice 5-star review, so happy for it!) and I have a doubt when it comes to payment. I selled that specific order for 44USD, but Fiverr says I earned 35,2USD. Why so? Where are the 8.8 dollars left?

I am new so I guess it will have to do with Fiverr’s policy or something like that.

Can anyone explain me? Thank you very much.

To answer your question: Fiverr takes a 20% cut.

Fiverr cut 20% of job amount as Fiverr fees.
fiverr will clear the payment after 14 days of the job complete

I would like to add that 20% of job amount is a very reasonable percentage. Consider also that if Fiverr becomes more important in the next years, there will be more opportunities for all of us.🙂
