Phone Verification is not working

As you all know, the phone verification is a must to creating a gig, HOWEVER i tried putting in my phone number but every time i to tell them to send me a SMS the system responds: “Something went wrong, check your number and try again” EVEN THOUGH ITS THE RIGHT NUMBER… maybe its because its a german number but its not working 😦
