hello guys

I have a big problem I start creating a website for a client but I didn’t finish in time so he canceled the order and gave me 1 start :scream: I couldn’t believe he did that now I can’t log into buyer request what should I do ??

Your buyer didn’t give you one star, the automatic system did because you didn’t deliver on time I’m afraid.

Not many suggestions as to how to recover from your only review being one star I’m afraid.

I did miss a few deadline (life happens lol), but the system didn’t give me 1-star automatically. Are you sure it’s the system?

Only one rating, and it’s 1 - star… not sure how recoverable that is.

No, it s the buyer who gave him 1 star. In my previous work, I was more than 7 days late, but due to mutual understandings, my buyer gave me 5 star and a tip too.
So, it is advised to make good relation with your buyers. Let them know the real situation and be in touch with them.
@passai Sorry to hear that. Now you have to advertise your GIGs on social media and bring buyers to your profile. It will help you to improve your rating.

i face same problem. client give 3* for her own problem. Now its good and i get more order. Dont be quite. Try to submit order timely and good communition with client …

When you’re late, no automatic review is left. But, if the buyer cancels because you are late, a 1-star review reading “Cancelled order. Seller failed to deliver on time!” is left automatically. I’m unsure whether or not the buyer can alter this message, but it will definitely leave a 1-star review for the seller.

That appears to be what happened to @passai. Here are some tips for you :slight_smile:

  1. Next time you’re late, request a formal extension of the deadline through the Resolution Center. If the buyer accepts the extension, you won’t have to fear your ratings being hurt. If they don’t for some reason, you can work out another solution so you won’t waste your time.
  2. Make sure to keep in contact with your buyers and ensure they stay up-to-date with the progress. Your buyer may have chosen to cancel because he had no idea whether you were working on his site or not. Next time, explain what you’ve been doing and send screenshots to show you’re making progress.

Hi i am in this situation now …Buyer booked my gig without asking me .He did not provide as much information as i need ! I asked him out to explain me about the order details but he is not being responsive and behaving kinda rude …It’s already 2 days late delivery .but i did not complete the order yet ! if i ask him to close the order will i get 1 star review automatically ? is there any way to avoid review from this order !
