Pleeeeeaaase stop trying to sell me porn!

#1

Honestly, is Fiverr becoming a new porn industry? I requested a gig, something about Shakespeare’s sonnets, and except for one serious seller, all I’m getting are offers from vendors for pornographic material? I reported this to customer support, but, AS USUAL, nothing seems to have been done about it.

I’m not exactly a prude, but I really resent people wasting my time with this kind of thing! Plus, I though that somewhere in Fiverr’s rules and regulations there was something about this?

Has this kind of thing happened to anyone else?

I’ve never received a message about x rated movies/images. I’ve seen that kind of thing on here before, however it’s few and far between.

Pretty sure it wouldn’t break some rule, but I wouldn’t know without checking (it might actually break a law opposed to a fiverr rule).

This is from the TOS:

:black_medium_small_square:Posting or sending adult, illegal, rude, abusive, improper, copyright protected, promotional, spam, violent, nonsense or any uncool stuff is strictly prohibited. Doing so will get your account blocked permanently.

But who’s to say what is “adult”? I suspect it’s a fairly fluid definition that will be different from one support person to another. If you consider something “adult” enough to fail your personal sniff test, you could report them to CS and let them figure it out~

And can anyone please explain to me what “uncool stuff” is?? :-S

Reply to @celticmoon: Good question, Celtic!

I was wondering the same thing. “Uncool stuff” sounds to me like an “Anything we don’t like” add-on.
