Question about gig video and copyright

Hello everyone. I hope you’re doing well.

I’ve been working on my first gig for around 2 weeks now and I’m almost ready to upload it for customers to buy. My question today is about my gig video. I’ve made a video where I voice over what my gig is all about, but I’ve used clips from various other sources. For example, when I say “Hello!” it’s a video of Alfred from The Dark Knight Rises nodding his head at the end of the movie. Also, when I say “have a great day” it’s a video of Thanos smiling at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. There are more examples of this, but they’re not more than just a couple of seconds and my gig video is 30 seconds in total. I used images from google images as well, but again, it’s not more than around 3 seconds at most.

So I was wondering if it’s acceptable to do this, or will I get my gig taken down or get banned.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day or evening.

You cannot use others’ intellectual property to promote your gig. It doesn’t matter how long the clips are.

Welcome to the Fiverr forums.

I like the idea, but it’s better to be safe than risk loosing your gig due to a 3-second clip.
What’s your gig about? Depending on the service you offer, you don’ necessarily need a video.

Welcome to Fiverr Forum,
You can use power point slides for making a video to represent your service. That will be easiest and safest way to represent you.
Thanks
