Referring my boyfriend to get a gig for both?

Is it legit to invite my boyfriend to join fiverr and then buy a gig that we’ll use together? (it’s an ebook about earning online, so I’ll read it too). This is a big advantage, since he gets the first gig free - as it is mentioned in the landing page about the referring program.

Is this possible or the gig has to be user-related?
