Many services require Freelancers to be in a certain country… not easy to look through every Freelancer to know, in fact it is impossible to go through them.

I needed a Press Release prepared and distributed in Australia… very unlikely for me, as a client, to hire a Freelancer in the US to create and distribute Press Releases to Australian outlets… it might work, don’t get me wrong. But how confident would i be to hire someone like that.

No doubt many tasks don’t require location preferences, but many other tasks do…
