I have a weird recurring situation that quite frankly don’t understand.
One of my priorities is never to let an order go late but I’m always facing the fallowing situation:
My delivery time is set to 3 days which I feel is right in the middle (not to short, not to long).
I always message the buyer with the designs in the first 24h but they don’t always respond promptly.
Let’s say I get a message back from them around the 48h mark with a modification which I make right away. Now I haven’t heard back from them and the time is almost up, there’s 1 hour left what should I do?
Usually I deliver the latest version and explain to the buyer to message me if there are any changes that they still need.
Not all of them read and a few click on the “request modification” button.
9 times out of 10 when a buyer asks for a modification the order goes late.
I check my updates and see the order is late, everything in red.
Can anyone shed some light on this? is there something I’m missing?
P.S. Sometimes the buyer does not reply at all in all 3 days should I deliver? cancel the order?
