Response rate keeps dropping for no reason

My response rate is dropping even though I don’t get any messages. I think Fiverr is counting the receiving of new orders as messages. Is this the reason why my response rate has dropped?

No, Fiverr does not count new orders as new messages. However, it can’t hurt to send a confirmation message as a general practice. I suggest contacting customer support. They can tell you which users you did not respond to in the 24 hour window.

Order cancellation may affect the respond rate.
