Seller not responding what to do

I have had a gig for weeks now, and the seller was stringing me along saying tomorrow, today, two days from now, etc. Now he just stopped responding for a week after telling me he would be done and not to worry. I think at this point he just wants me to cancel so I won’t be able to leave bad feedback. I’m not sure, but I’ve had a couple of successful gigs with other sellers, but I’ve also had THIS EXACT situation 3 times now on different gigs. In all my cases I contacted the seller first and gave them a detailed description of what I needed yet I’ve gotten to this situation where I trust someone on fiver only to get nothing accomplished. Is this common? I have received no help from support. They just say cancel the gig. Is that really the best solution? if that’s the case I don’t think fiverr is for someone like me that actually wants things done.
