Fiverr’s terms of service state: Non-Permitted Usage

Adult Services & Pornography - Fiverr does not allow any exchange of adult oriented or pornographic materials and services.

The important word is “exchange”. You must not exchange images or text containing adult material. Your buyer is therefore already in breach, and if you send those photos back to him through Fiverr, you will be in breach. Your account could be suspended.

Either contact customer support for guidance or cancel the order. Bear in mind cancelling the order will affect your completion rate.

@english_voice Thanks for the suggestion. i just checked inbox, she is no longer available. It seems that Fiverr has taken action against him. I’m deleted the conversation.

I just search “adult content” on Fiverr, and show more than 10 sellers offer this service. So it’s allow or not?

adult content

Yes, but there is a point. If you search as they say “adult content” there is a 6 sellers and once you open one of them, in recommendations you see many more. Strange that Fiverr is unaware of it. I mean, I just typed adult content and found a lot of sellers. And one is writing essays of adult toys and she has 46 reviews…

I am not experienced in this matter. but a client sent me some pornographic images to edit and fiverr took action against him. I see after a while that she is no longer available.

Plus I’ve seen quite a few buyer requests asking for NSFW content, at least in the Creative writing subcategory. Weird, indeed.

That “exchange” term in the ToS is pretty vague, as it doesn’t specify whether it refers to simply messaging such content outside of an order (maybe as a form of harassment) or including it within orders. Wouldn’t have been clearer had it simply stated that the exchange of AND orders including such materials are not allowed? Rhetorical question 😄

Anyway, yep, the best and safest thing to do in such a situation would be to avoid/cancel pornography-related orders.

Just because some sellers get away with something, that isn’t reason to think it’s allowed. Go by what the ToS says and as has already been discussed, the ToS clearly states it’s not allowed.

Why not read the ToS? We all know because we read the ToS. Why can’t you do the same?
