Absolutely. I had a buyer trying to get me to facebook him and then working a deal outside of fiverr. He was acting really slimy. I did a fair amount of work for him before we set up the agreed upon payment. I know. I learned my lesson. In the end- he didn’t have a paypal account. That would be something fiverr could easily ensure before a buyer contacted a seller and visa versa.
