That was kinda sad

So there’s a website like Fiverr but it’s limited to writers. So I posted a request for a cover letter and within 5 to 6 minutes of posting job, I got 30 bids and everybody started convincing me how he/she is the best. It was really funny to talk with 30 people at once. It’s also sad how there isn’t much work out there.

I wouldn’t propose that there isn’t much work. People are always ready for more work.

Why is it sad? shouldn´t you be happy for having many options to choose from?
