The Fee that Fiverr takes from you sale

I have calculated, and found that Fiverr takes 20% cut of all sales, now don’t get me wrong, it is all to keep the process up and to pay the piper, I have nothing against it. The thing is though, when you sell a GIG that is more than $100 it starts to get ridiculous. My Suggestion is to have a cap, that you would take, because when a person sells a gig, for a high amount, it usually means that he has to put a lot of work into it. This gives platform for people to take money outside of Fiverr.



So, come on Fiverr, change your take to a sliding scale, for the high value sales.

From Fiverr TOS (http://www.fiverr.com/terms_of_service): “Each $5 Gig you sell and successfully deliver, accredits your account with a net revenue of $4”.

I think it took really a lot of time to calculate we’re billed 20% =))
