I think that this decreases the amount of new BR that I could be seeing and taking advantage of to improve my opportunities.

I am experiencing the same issue! 
I am trying to delete some requests but when I reload they come back. I sent an offer, but it also appears in the active requests. 
I got this same problem some time ago, and one day it simply updated correctly. Not sure if it is related to the site’s cookies or something.
