Top Rated Sellers - how are they selected?

So, I’ve been fortunate enough to have lived on Fiverr for several years. I have a pretty successful proofreading gig and have made a reasonable amount of money so that I’m now beyond the level 2 requirement.

I’m also very fortunate that usually, my clients seem to like what I’ve done and give me favorable reviews.

At first, when I became eligible for Top Rated Seller I eagerly waited to be promoted because I felt I deserved it. However, its probably been two years since that happened and although I continue to do pretty well I’m not sure what else needs to be done to encourage the Fiverr level choosers to pick me!

Is there some secret sauce, above and beyond keeping Fiverr Terms, delivering great value to clients, and generally being a helpful guy?

I’m also curious to know since very soon I’ll meet the requirements of a top rated seller.

If you type “why not TRS” in the search bar above there are several posts on the subject which you may find interesting.

Since it’s a manual process they’ll probably check each gig. Maybe gigs that are too similar might be an issue. Maybe they might take into account number of reviews for each active gig.
