A testimonial video is the re-enactment of the customer telling their story. It’s their story as it relates to an experience with your product or service. Their story is a SUBTLE way to assure potential customers that they’re making a wise purchasing decision.
A testimonial video is not a sales pitch, nor a spokesperson video. Bear in mind that a testimonial is peppered with compliments, not key sales points.
If your script reads more like a sales pitch, either purchase script-writing from the Seller, or consider a spokesperson video instead. Just don’t try to get 2 for the price of 1. Ultimately, that will appear deceitful to the video viewer and do great harm to your brand.
