Welcome to the Fiverr forums.

You only have 5 minutes of read-time shown in your forum profile. Check out the Tips For Sellers category (Fiverr Tips - Fiverr Community Forum). You’ll find hundreds of threads offering advice on a variety of things to consider and/or improve. (Note: Not all advice can apply to all gigs or categories. Be sure you check multiple sources as there are some false tips, even among the top threads.)

It takes a lot of work to make it as a freelancer, so be sure to research and plan accordingly.

My recommendations:

Take a deep breath - freelancing (as you are discovering) it not easy…it takes time.

Don’t sweat the small stuff - impressions, ranking, clicks, reviews…these are just metrics. They mean little if your passion is truly freelancing. Fuel that passion with what you came here to do - when you have no orders, spend time cartooning for yourself, family and friends.

It’s all small stuff - remember, at the end of the day, with or without orders, you are still a freelancer and no one can take that away from you.

Have fun - most important of all, don’t let your life revolve around Fiverr. Make Fiverr just a part of your life and ensure that you have a healthy work/life balance.

That’s about it.

You need an eye-caching images that stands out from your competition. Make something more vibrant and bold than them.

The title needs to be specific to their needs. Don’t waste unnecessary words. Think about what your buyers main needs are and infuse it into the title.

The description must speak directly to the customers self interest. Identify their pain points and prove how you can solve them.

Other than that, the sad truth is that it’s hugely up to luck. You never know if the fiverr Gods are going to choose to rank you high or not. If you don’t rank high you wont get sales. So you need to just hope that fiverr boostes your gig to the top. Once you get that top stop don’t take it forgranted. Provide incredible service every time or you risk losing it.
