- historical fiction
- science fiction
None of the above. I like things about the exploration of consciousness, and how that applies to current discoveries in physics:
The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities
Fantasy/science fiction. The biggest issue with those genres is that the good ones are very hard to find.
Including Science fiction.
I like SciFi and fantasy. Currently reading Anthony Ryan’s The Draconis Memoria trilogy. Not sure I like that the dragons are the bad guys …
CJ Cherryh is always reliable …
Also like murder mysteries …
I love dragons. I can attest to them not being bad, just a little scary looking and acting.
Did you ever read Glass Books of the Dream Eaters? That’s a pretty suspenseful and brilliant example of modern fantasy sci-fi.
(At least, I thought so.)
I like books like that ^^^
@sananajeeb597 Science fiction definitely! They stimulate my mind allowing me to think beyond possibilities. I always find them improving my imagination.
Thank you. I’ll take all the recommendations I can get. I’ve been hungry for a good book for a while.
None of the above i love to read motivational books and history books.
Self-help books are my go-to books
I like to read biographic book.
I don’t find self-help books useful at all but I’ve read Irwin Yalom’s “Staring at the sun” recently. My therapist suggested it and I thought, “yeah, whatever, what I need is more useless advice that doesn’t apply to me”. But it’s more of an in-depth view of confronting one’s mortality and overall fear of death. A very balanced and honest one, from a clinical, historical and philosophical point of view. I liked it a lot.
It turns out, he writes fiction as well so I’ll be definitely picking up one of those.
I like to read novels, historical novel. Also science fiction.
… I also like recipe books - particularly the ones with little stories attached about how the recipe came about. And nice pictures. Basically, I like food p0rn …
None of these really apply to me. I’m not into commercial fiction. I like literary fiction as well as domestic fiction and psychological fiction. Poetry is pretty nice, and I love hybrid text and stream of consciousness. I’m in love with writing as an aesthetic over substance.
I also fond of reading Novels
What I like about Sci-fi and Fantasy the most is that they make me feel inspired, making me get me in that creative flow and get all sorts of new ideas as concepts blend together.
