What would be some good gig extras?

#1

I am a writer here on fiverr, and luckily I have had enough business that I will be level one as soon as I’ve been a member 30 days. I want to maximize my profits, and I keep hearing that gig extras are where you make most of your money. So what would be good for a writer/editor? and also what should i charge?

Offer more words and extra fast. I think the most you’ll be able to charge is $20 extra, but your buyers will be able to buy in multiples of four. Best of luck!

a good extra will be * Stop spamming forums*. *wink wink. jkjk

Idk , blow a kiss?

Reply to @biancha: Posting questions is not spamming. ಠ_ಠ

Just wanted to ask the community what they have done that made them successful. I’m just trying to make some cash for my short film, and I need some ideas on how to make more money.

PS I don’t think finding out their address and flying to their house to blow them a kiss is very profitable, thanks for the suggestion though.

oh, are you from japan?

#7

Reply to @biancha: No, I’m from the US. Are you from Japan?

Ah Geez! Are you two Cyber-Lovers fighting at it again??

;))

Ok @bigmish, so here’s your new gig Extras:

I will write the Entire Script, for the Video Game that you’ve already ordered from @biancha - for $10.

;

I will write Full Biographies, for the 3 custom-character Extras… that you’ve already ordered from biancha - for $20.

; :-*

I agree with Kissreviews.

You might also consider the rights you’re offering on the short story gig. In the description you could say that it’s just for non-commercial personal use. Then, offer an extra where they can purchase full rights to the story.

Reply to @typingservice: I never thought of that. Nice! Also, I have another question in a seperate thread, but I’ll ask it here anyway. I have an idea for a gig where I sell a copy of my play. Everyone gets the same one. Is that allowed? It’s sort of like self publishing, and I figured it should be. I don’t want to get banned because of a mistake though, I’m almost at $100 dollars, lol.

#12

Sure, that’s allowed. I would just make it clear in the gig description that you are the author and will retain the copyright.

Reply to @typingservice: Oh that is soooo bueno! You just opened up a whole world of possibilities for me my friend, thanks so much!

Reply to @bigmish: You’re welcome!

BigMish, if you have experience in writing plays, why not offer a script writing gig as well? For example, write the script for a promotional video that’s up to 30 seconds in length (or 100 words). It’s just a thought. You can have up to 20 gigs…

I gotta say, these should have hit me like a brick, lol. Thanks for the ideas. I will implement them for sure! You’ve been really helpful, best of luck to you on fiverr
