When to accept Buyer's criticism... and when not!

When I first started providing testimonial videos to marketers I was quite naive. One of my first Buyers (I’ll call him #1) refused to accept my video because he said, “your lighting is un-professional”. I offered to do it again to his exact specifications, which he did, and he finally accepted. So, I changed my gig demo video to include the new"better" lighting style and used it on subsequent testimonial video orders.

Jump ahead two weeks, Buyer #8 refuses my video because he didn’t like the lighting, “too professional for a testimonial”! LOL!

It was then that I realized nothing was wrong with my lighting in either case; it was my gig description that needed to be fixed. Today, my gig description stands firm on what I offer and so should yours.
