I have a question: I posted a gig about Teaching how to speak Spanish like a Caribbean via Skype, but then they told me I couldn’t communicate with my buyers outside this website. But I look for other similar gigs and they are perfectly fine speaking via Skype. Like these:

To protect our users’ privacy, user identities are kept anonymous. Requesting or providing Email addresses, Skype/IM usernames, telephone numbers or any other personal contact details to communicate outside of Fiverr in order to circumvent or abuse the Fiverr messaging system or Fiverr platform is not permitted.
Any necessary exchange of personal information required to continue a service may be exchanged within the order page."
So, as you can see, personal information is sometimes required to continue a service. What most sellers do is to contact Customer Support prior to setting up a gig that requires exhange of contact information. That way CS has the opportunity to review your gig details and make sure it looks like something that won’t violate the ToS. If they write back and give you permission, then you can keep that message to show to Fiverr if you ever have a problem over it. Just realize that if you do violate the ToS by talking to the client about payment outside of Fiverr, you’ll still be subject to a ban.
