Why Impression is important?

Hi, I am new here and I am curious about why impression is needed? because getting high impressions does not mean the increase of sale rates?

Impressions mean that people see your gig in search results and on Fiverr category pages.

There is no other function or purpose of Impressions. You cannot do anything to control impressions, because only buyers, visitors and traffic from on Fiverr provide you with this metric.
