My daughter has Leukemia(JMML), and my wife had to quit her job as a teacher to take care of her. She even has to go to the hospital ASAP with even the common cold, and it takes 300~700 dollars every trip. And the worst problem is that my angel doesn’t even get better. She just looks like a zombie, and I don’t know what I can do. I would sell my soul to the devil if she get cured. And I tried my best, moving to a nice little home to an basement which leaks, I sold my car and I take the bus to work, or I walk sometimes because I can’t afford the bus fees. I got myself a part time job as a freelancer, but it just isn’t enough. Even if I work 18~20 hours a day, the only thing I get myself into is more and more debt. The thing that worries me is that one day she needs to go to the hospital, but I don’t have any money, so I have to watch her die helplessly. I will do everything I can to prevent this, but I can’t stop myself from thinking of that situation. I am becoming desperate, and I am wondering if I can post a fundraiser on Fiverr. Or would that violate the rules here?
People aren’t looking for those kind of stuff so I doubt you’ll get that much traffic. You’re better off using indiegogo or something.
I have never seen a successful fund raiser on Fiverr unless it was done by Fiverr itself. This is an e-commerce site, not a charity.
I’d say consensus is, unless Customer Support specifically gives someone permission to do fundraising, the answer is no.
